"PGA Sockets

Tecknit's high performance PGA socket was the first socket that Tecknit developed to interconnect printer circuit boards and integrated circuit devices. Using proprietary "Fuzz Button" technology as the interconnect media, custom made PGA sockets offer reliable electrical characterization and test results. Connection is made to each individual button upon insertion of the pin grid device, and a gentle piping action ensures optimum pin contact. Providing virtually "invisible" interconnection. Tecknit's PGA sockets are used in high speed PGA test applications to ensure reduced signal distortion.
