A Fuzz Button® is made from a single gold plated fine wire that is compressed
into a very small cylindrical shape. The resulting object is a wire mass
having spring performance and demonstrated superior electrical signal
conduction from high current DC to microwave frequencies.
Typical size is 0.010" in diameter by 0.060" in length.
Our Fuzz Button® technology is intersecting the growing need for improved
electrical performance with diminishing size and space requirements.
Throw in long life, superior environmental characteristics and competitive
pricing and you have a very desirable option for conventional methods
using stamped parts, formed metal and the ever-present spring probes,
commonly called "pogo pins". Finally no soldering, no tooling and no
minimum quantity is necessary.
