MATERIALS - MESH STRIPS provide EMI
shielding at the joints and seams of electronic enclosures. Cross
sections are rectangular, round, round with fin (to simplify mounting)
and double round with fin. Standard materials are tin-plated phosphor
bronze, tin-coated copper-clad steel, silver-plated brass, monel, and
aluminum. Shielding Effectiveness (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz;
>110 dB @ 1 GHz.
CUSTOM STRIPS

WIRE MESH KNITTED OVER ELASTOMER CORE - CUSTOM STRIPS
combine the resiliency and conductivity of knitted wire mesh with the
excellent compression and deflection characteristics of sponge elastomer.
Custom strip gaskets consist of two covers of knitted wire mesh over a
core of either neoprene, silicone closed-cell sponge, or low closure
force elastomer tubing. (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz; >110 dB @ 1 GHz.
EMC SHIELDING
TAPE - THIN STRIP OF KNITTED WIRE MESH
- EMC SHIELDING TAPE is a double layered strip of knitted wire mesh
and is ideal for shielding electronic cables and cable assemblies. The
one inch tape is supplied in 25' & 100' rolls and on spools up to
2500 feet. The standard tape material is tin-coated copper-clad steel.
Available by special order in different widths and materials.
(SE):> 60 dB @ 10 MHz; >40 dB @ 1 GHz.
TECKMESH TAPE
- SHIELD AND SEAL WIRE MESH - TECKMESH
is a flexible EMC tape for shielding and sealing connecting cables and
harnesses. It is constructed of knitted wire mesh for shielding and a
thin silicone elastomer for sealing. The silicone sealing material fuses
on contact with itself. No adhesives, clamps, or special tools are
required for cable or harness wrapping or curing. (SE): >60 dB @ 10 MHz;
>40 dB @ 1 GHz.
SEAMLESS KNITTED
WIRE - DIE-COMPRESSED WIRE GASKETS
- SEAMLESS KNITTED WIRE is formed by die-compressing a controlled amount
of knitted wire mesh. The gasket contains no joints or splices.
Although most applications involve rings, gaskets can be produced in
rectangular and special shapes, with holes or mounting recesses, corner
radii, and other custom features. (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz; >110 dB @
1 GHz.
CUSTOM KNITTED
WIRE - CUSTOM MESH GASKETS -
CUSTOM KNITTED WIRE MESH gaskets are made from combinations of wire strips
(rectangular, round, double core, and round with fin) and custom strips
(mesh knitted over sponge or hollow cross section elastomer core
constructions). Mesh knitted over various core materials can be used
in high temperature and microwave applications. (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz;
>110 dB @ 1 GHz.

TM -
WIRE MESH WITH ELASTOMER SEAL - DUOGASKETS / DUOSTRIPS are made
of knitted mesh and elastomer to provide shielding and environmental sealing.
Optional:adhesive back. Disc or washer-type stops minimize over compression.
DUOGASKETS are ideal for sealing enclosure doors and covers, and for
mounting shielding windows and vents. (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz; >
100 dB @ 1 GHz.
TECKSTRIP® - KNITTED WIRE MESH WITH EXTRUDED STRIPS OR FRAMES -
TECKSTRIP is wire mesh (with or without rubber) crimped into
an aluminum frame. They can be supplied in a ready-to-mount frame or in
custom or bulk lengths. Easily attached to an enclosure by spot welding,
bolting, or riveting. Frames can be supplied unfinished, chromate finished,
or painted to specification. (SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz; >100 dB @ 1
GHz.
DUOSIL®
- EXTRUDED STRIP OF WIRE MESH AND
SILICONE - DUOSIL is composed of silicone and mesh to provide an
EMI shield and environmental seal. It is produced by allowing a
controlled amount of elastomer to penetrate the porous face of the
shielding strip. The result is a composite of both materials. Ideal in
severe environments, it is perfect for installation in narrow groves.
(SE): >130 dB @ 10 MHz;>100 dB @ 1 GHz.
